I am a curator of craft history, a Ph.D. student at Queen’s University (Kingston, ON), and a Graduate Research Fellow of the Global Legacies of Arts & Crafts project. I am currently the Guest Editor of the Fall/Winter 2024 issue of Ornamentum, Canada’s only decorative arts magazine.

My doctoral research examines ceramic pedagogy during the turn of the twentieth century in East Asia, notably industrial schools in Japan and their international student body from across Asia. My scholarly projects include the cross-cultural exchange of craft knowledge, design, and technology spanning the craft disciplines across East Asia and Europe. Other interests include fashion history and the history of technology.

I curated Liu Shiming: Spirit of Daily Life in partnership with the Liu Shiming Art Foundation at the Art & Media Lab (03.06.24-03.16.24). I have held curatorial internships at the Royal Ontario Museum's Global Fashion and Textiles Department and the Gardiner Museum of Ceramics. My work as a curatorial researcher has contributed to an Indian Ocean World exhibit scheduled for 2025-2026 at the Royal Ontario Museum.

I hold an MA in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from the Bard Graduate Center in New York, NY. I received my BA (Hons.) in Art History, Anthropology, and Material Culture from the University of Toronto in Toronto, ON.
